LipiFlow Diagnostic System
There are three steps to the LipiFlow® diagnostic system.
- Dry Eye Questionnaire: This initial step helps our doctors determine the severity of your symptoms. You will be asked to complete the questionnaire and explain how your dry eye symptoms affecting your daily life.
- LipiView® Evaluation: Our doctors will assess your tear film by capturing images that measure the thickness of the oil layer of your tears. This is a non-invasive, comfortable process that only takes 5 minutes to complete.
- Meibomian Gland Evaluator™: Our doctors will assess the quality and quantity of oils your glands are releasing.
Armed with this detailed information about your eyes, our doctors can determine if LipiFlow or a different treatment is best for you.
